Michele Quirin
My name is Michele Quirin and I am excited for this school year! I have been married for 33 years and have three sons. I also have 2 dogs and 2 grand dogs. I enjoy spending time at my lake house at Lake of Egypt near Marion, Illinois.
I have been teaching at Cahokia High School since 1988 and am looking forward to teaching this year's Scholars. I will retire at the end of this school year. This year my teaching assignment includes teaching Special Education Social Skills, Social Studies, and Work Skills. My students learn skills they need in order to live as independently as they are able. Scholars will have opportunities to go into the community via the Metro Link or Metro Bus.
I believe that parent communication is key to the the success of the scholar. I welcome parents to come and visit the classroom when in session in order to have a better understanding of their child's progress. If you are interested in visiting, you will need to first make an appointment with me and sign in at the main desk. The students, staff, and visitors are to wear face masks upon arriving on campus as well as in all buildings. This year my plan period is 10:20-11:10. The fastest way to contact me is at the classroom phone number below or by email. I look forward to meeting with you this year and having students join me for my last year.
