Art Class is Popular Elective

Do you like to draw or like to watch friends who know how to draw? Mrs. Lindsay Klein’s art class may be for you. Klein teaches her students to think creatively and differently. For beginners who don't know how to draw, Mrs. Klein would tell them to start small and that drawing can be taught if you have the patience.
Klein says the best way to explain art is that art is being creative and expressing yourself through painting and sketching. Klein says she decided to be an art teacher because as a kid she was always drawing and creating pictures, and her calling has always been to teach. She says the best part about teaching is when a student finally understands and gains confidence in his or her art skill.
“Mrs. Klein is a good teacher, and very helpful when it comes to her art. I love the way Mrs. Klein teaches because it is easier to understand,” said senior Denzel Freeman.
Junior Duwan Cutts said, “Mrs. Klein is one of the coolest people I have had the pleasure of meeting, a cool teach, and she’s very understanding.”
Senior Kevin Strader said he's known Mrs. Klein for 12 years and she has always been amazing and inspiring to him as a teacher.
