Rebecca Carriel

I am Mrs. Carriel, Grammar and Writing teacher at Cahokia High school. I have been a teacher in the Cahokia school district for 16 years. I was a late bloomer. I did not attend college until I was 40 years old and graduated, after working full time and attending classes, after 8 years, at the age of 48. I am proud to be an educator and wouldn't want to teach anywhere but at CHS.

I have 3 children. They are Jessica, 43 years old and a secretary at Cardinal Glennon Hospital Same Day Surgery Center; Casey, a Master Sargent in the Air Force, stationed in Turkey; and Shaun, a Sargent in the Marines, stationed in Fort Worth, Texas. I also have 10 grandchildren.
