Brent Murphy

Welcome to our website for American Foundations and US History.  This will be the place to check for course syllabus, assignments and other resources.

  The courses are currently being taught by Mr. Brent Murphy.  Mr. Murphy has been with Cahokia School District long enough for a 

  student to come into his room and announce "You taught my mom at Wirth Middle School!"  Brent graduated from Belleville     

  Township High School West in 1984, Attended S.W.I.C. (as Mr. Herschler loved to point out, when it was still known as Belleville

   Area College) After receiving his Associates of Arts in History and Accounting in 1986, Murphy continued on to S.I.U.-E. where in \    1988 he was conferred a Bachelors Degree in History and Political Science in the spring of 1988. He currently holds a Master's

   Degree in Education with an emphasis in Historical Research from McKendree University.
